EXIT YOURSELF - SINGLE

2020

1 EXIT YOURSELF

And one day
you’ll understand
that we feed on details
which is not just eating for survival

And one day
you’ll find yourself singing to persist
like the eco that sounds to transcend the moment’s spark
while your legs parade you through the planet not called Earth

Bite with patience
be vehement
be that thread of light
that sneaks prudenceless through the bellows
of that bandondeon that represents each day

When wanting to explote
set yourself on fire, first
when trying to explote
you’ll have to explore first
inside yourself
where the beginning of the wick lays

You think outside there’s possession
but there only nests Poseidon
well what you really own
is your inside
the inside of your side

Let your heart jog
let it stumble towards uncertainty
we look to each other
without even knowing
how much of ours is in yours

The future is that cockade
your teachers feed you
during the school’s ceremony

The days ahead
are that kind of obligation
of helpless whereabouts

Ask me what I like more than explosion
exploration, I will say
walking still, in silence

Because
in that velvet and raw static
I understand how the sun moves on
how movements overlap

Rewind in your desires
don’t explode;
explore, instead
the helpless soul that carry your name

Don’t move your eyelashes
don’t let your eyes scape from the other
who watches you
who’s telling you
who’s barking at you
teaching you about your own vows

Don’t forget to stay still,
in silence
and thus, you’ll tie findings

Rewind in your desire
don’t explode
hibernate; deflate the verb
resurrect but do not
with the shape we adopt to act
‘cause none of that is real

Facts are prints
that give proof of the waste of time
time is nothing more than a story of some neutrons and protons, electrons in some few hammocks

And at the end of the silence
where the incense is over
you’ll find myself also there
silently staring at you
wanting to show you
the painted pictures that no longer inhabit
because it doesn’t need
because it doesn’t know
because it doesn’t know anything
in the middle of these hellish rocks of meaning and feat

And one day
you’ll untie the coward’s shirt
you’ dress more simply
you’ll become the petticoat of the petticoeat
that rocks with what you don’t need
to become

To love
is to discover
that there’s nothing
beyond looking at each other

And suddenly,
there you explode;
and the explosion is tied to what’s
inevitable

That exploding, deep down
is to discover that nogthing exists
beyond looking at each other.
